Welcome to the Junior Syndicate. 
Judy Leydon, Sharyn Tilley, Jess Rose, Allie Naden, Cathy Rowell, Vicki Swider and Susanne Fry look forward to you popping in and viewing our amazing work.
We have one SENCO teacher, Ria Nicolson, Teacher Release - Pam Pickett and three teacher aides working in our syndicate - Sarah Moore, Wendy Ray and Michelle Richardson.
This year we are very fortunate to have Ruby Tiepa working in our syndicate teaching Maori with our children.
We have a very exciting action packed term.
We are learning about:
- In our Religious Instruction programme - the 1st week we will be learning about imaginative and creative prayers. The areas we will be learning about are - the God strand, Sacrament and Social Justice.
Literacy - Guided Reading- The focus is on understanding the story. Remember to ask your child questions about the story. A book will go home Monday - Thursday; with a poem on the Friday to be shared and read together with the family.
Mathematics - The focus is learning about number knowledge- with two week blocks of other strands - for example Geometry, Measurement, and Statistics.
Every Friday we expose our children to variety of science experiments. Our aim is to introduce scientific language and encourage our kids to question and explore ideas through exciting hands on activities.
For Topic we will be learning about Planet Earth and Beyond.
